Job description

Our client, The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) are two European Standardization Organizations and their management centre (CCMC) is located in Brussels.

Their mission is to foster the European economy in global trading, the welfare of European citizens and the environment.

Through their services they provide platforms for the development of European Standards and other technical specifications.

To consolidate their activity, CCMC is joining forces with Proselect in order to find their:

Functional Analyst (M/F/X)

    Functional analyst, change management
    This position will report directly to the Account Manager PMO and be part of a team of 7 people. Your tasks and responsibilities are as follow: 

    Functional analysis

    o   Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements using a variety of techniques to uncover both stated and hidden needs

    o   Perform root cause analysis to ensure that proposed solutions will address underlying needs

    o   Translate requirements into specifications

    o   Validate whether outputs meet user and strategic expectations

    o   Configure required changes in no-code or low-code systems

    Project participation

    o   Execute tasks defined by the relevant project manager as part of projects

    o   Manage upwards, engage with project managers to ensure own parts of the project plan are appropriate and realistic

    o   Maintain awareness of other internal and external activities that may impact projects, including counterpart projects at international level (at ISO and/or IEC)

    Change management contribution (= the people side of change)

    o   Produce and maintain user documentation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

    o   Support developers as they create and maintain technical documentation

    o   Support the relevant project manager with execution of appropriate change management activities such as contributing content to communications

  2. Your talents

    Act with integrity, Deliver results & Work collaboratively !
    o   Bachelor, master’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field, with at least 5 years experience ;

    o   English – native level ;

    o   Functional or business analysis techniques ; 

    o   Excellent analytical and conceptual skills ; 

    o   Aptitude for learning new tools and understanding complex data structures ; 

    o   Application of theory (functional or business analysis) in practice.
