Our partner, a major player in the logistics sector, is looking for a Business Development Manager FR/NL/ENG (M/F/X) who is passionate about customer development to strengthen its team and support its continued growth in the national and international market.

Your challenge!
A central, results-oriented role combining business development, customer management, and process structuring.Reporting to the Sales Department, you will be responsible for revenue growth and the quality of the customer portfolio.
Business development & prospecting:
- Identify and win new customers through active prospecting (cold calling, networking, emailing, social selling, etc.).
- Analyze the market, trends, and competition to identify new opportunities.
- Deploy a structured, value- and profitability-oriented sales approach.
Customer portfolio management and arbitration:
- Develop and retain existing high-potential customers.
- Understand customer needs and offer tailor-made solutions.
- Arbitrate collaborations with unprofitable or low-potential customers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction while defending the interests of the company.
Sales cycle management & internal coordination:
- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract signing.
- Give sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer challenges.
- Ensure a clear handover of operational requirements to internal teams to guarantee a smooth start to services.
- Work closely with the operations, finance, compliance, H&S, and support teams.
Strategy, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development and execution of the commercial strategy.
- Define, monitor, and achieve sales targets.
- Prepare the annual commercial budget in conjunction with the finance department.
- Monitor KPIs, produce forecasts, and generate regular reports.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives (processes, tools, sales efficiency).
- Support the development of digital customer solutions (EDI, etc.).

- Minimum 8 to 10 years of successful experience in B2B business development.
- Experience in the food industry is appreciated (or profiles from the retail sector are also compatible).
- Strong results-oriented culture, keen sense of negotiation and profitability.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and in a structured manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and conflict management skills.
- Comfortable in demanding and changing environments.
- Dutch required (level C1 or Dutch-speaking).
- Professional English and French required.
- Hunter mindset, performance-oriented.
- Analytical and decisive.
- Sense of priorities and excellent organization.
- Cross-functional leadership and ability to challenge the business.
