Our client, Leonardo Belgium, is a multinational industrial company active in helicopters maintenance and the sale of spare parts.

With more than 50 people and a strong team spirit, our client is actively looking for a :

HR Manager (M/F/X)

    To lead and be responsible for all HR activities !
    As HR Manager, you coordinate the Human Resources department at the operational level and implement projects in accordance with the strategic orientations decided with the Management.

    Your responsibilities will therefore revolve around 2 poles :

    Operational HR responsibilities :

    – Overseeing payroll operations ;
    – Undertaking regular salary reviews ;
    – Ensuring that proper policies and procedures are in place to meet group requirements ;
    – Maintaining records and compiling reports concerning KPI’s ;
    – Providing information and guidance to both line Managers and Employees ;
    Performing difficult staffing issues ;

    Strategic HR responsibilities :

    – Developing HR planning strategies regarding immediate and long-term staff requirements ; 
    Recruiting staff (job description, interviews, reference checks,…) ;
    Ensuring planning, monitoring & appraisal of employee work results by supporting/training managers to coach and discipline employees ;
    – Analysing training needs in conjunction with line managers ;
    – Analysing and modifying Leonardo compensation system to establish competitive structure ;
    Organizing social elections if necessary and monitoring industrial relations ;
    – Developing KPI’s to measure overall HR performance ;
    – Developing any others HR initiatives.

    The successful candidate will bring a mix of strong analytics, project management, international experience, hands-on mentality, broad generalist HR experience in a leading role. Provide expert professional guidance and support to managers and employees on all aspects of people management.

    Concretely :
    Minimum Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of relevant HR (managerial) experience ;
    Experience managing a team and the professionalization of HR processes ;
    – Strong analytical skills, data organization, project management and processing – to lead various projects and create focused action plans and drive insights through HR performance and efficiency metrics ;
    Strong, demonstrated communication & collaboration skills ;
    – Ability to manage and participate in multiple projects, priorities, and internal client groups, manage timelines, and escalate issues as needed ;
    – Ability to work effectively at both strategic and operational levels – strategic thinker, who can develop a clear agenda for the Human Resources function ;
    – An enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment ;
    – Excellent communication skills in at least English and French.
