  1. Your challenge!

    As a Legacy Officer, you will be part of the ‘Fundraising’ department, responsible for recruiting new donors and maintaining relationships with these donors. You will report to the head of the ‘Relationship Fundraising’ unit. Your responsibilities include:

    Creating and maintaining privileged relationships with potential testators.
    Developing actions to inform donors about legacies and increase their engagement.
    Communicating with potential testators and providing personalized technical advice.
    Developing and monitoring promotional campaigns on legacies.
    Collaborating on the establishment and implementation of the legacy strategy.

  2. Your talents

    👊🏻 About You
    • You hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, in the field of individual relationship management and/or marketing.
    • Experience in inheritance law is a plus.
    • You are a team player and communicate easily.
    • You are comfortable managing privileged relationships with donors or clients.
    • You have analytical skills and demonstrate real negotiation abilities.
    • You think innovatively and strategically.
    • You are mature, attentive, and inspire confidence.
    • You can handle personal information confidentially.
    • You have a high level of empathy for the 50+ group.
    • You are Dutch-speaking with a very good knowledge of French or English.
    • You are willing to travel throughout Belgium and occasionally work evenings or weekends.
    • You are detail-oriented, with administrative and organizational skills to monitor ongoing campaigns.
